A bomb threat on the Delhi Ayodhya Express caused chaos at Barabanki Railway Station. Train No. 14205, en route from Ayodhya to Delhi, was halted and searched for two hours. The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), Railway Police, and local police jointly conducted a search operation. Passengers were evacuated, and the compartments were thoroughly searched. Assistant Station Superintendent Piyush Verma stated that the Railway Control Room received information about a bomb in a double bag in sleeper coaches S4 and S5. The train was stopped at Barabanki at 6:59 PM. The Army's bomb disposal squad also checked all train compartments and seats. During the search, a message threatening to blow up the train at Lucknow's Charbagh station was found written in the S8 coach's toilet. A double bag was found in S5 with a pillow on top but no passenger nearby. The passenger who had been sleeping with his head on the bag was later located. No objectionable material was found, after which railway officials issued an NOC, and the train departed at 9:16 PM.
